Three Figures

I find the human body so fascinating and the imagery capturing the view from within, even more so. Currently I'm working on the sonagrams of the daughter of my collaborating partner, Karen Rips.  I'll share those images later--some are still in the planning stage.

These are three full figures I recently finished. They are almost life size, so quite large, and took quite some time to complete. I used hand-dyed raw silk for the 2 outer pieces and commercially dyed duponi silk for the center piece. I was experimenting with a different palette, which was quite informative and fun, but a challenge.
